I know that I was homosexual since I was born. It was only a part of me, hiding and a silent part.
When I was in Qur'an Course in a mosque everyone says: 'Homosexual demons are invading the world.This is the doomsday!'
And so I hate homosexuality.It was all a demon in your soul and must be punished at once.Everyday I went the mosque and prayed God to become a normal and rescue myself from this devil.
What happened then? I continue living with the devil.I can only forget the devil when I was reading a book. So I grow a wormbook. But the books doesn't only help me to forget the devil. It also expands my vision. My perspective to the life. I observe homosexuality exists before I was born. It really shocked me(Guess how we not acknowledged are). It's just always hiding in a place of our lives.I wanna show people this,the truth.They of course don't wanna know me. When I say I was a gay to my parents, I was immediately deliver a psychologist to become a normal.
When I woke up that Saturday morning, little did I know that something I was hiding from view from others was about to have the key put in the ignition and set me off on a journey that was to develop the life I was born with.
It was a Saturday morning like any other Saturday morning. I always got up first because I’m an premature bird.
After breakfast, I’d perch down and watch Multi-Coloured Swap Shop – a children’s TV show on Saturday morning.
The proof that I was 17 years old didn’t set me off from watching it. I loved watching it. It got my weekend off to a perfect start.
Just after midday, I always went into town to buy an array of snacks for myself for the evening. I still preferred to spend Saturday evenings indoors watching television like I did on Saturday mornings.
My parents thought it rare for a boy my age to want to stay in on a Saturday evening. At the time, I thought they knew nothing about why I did not desire to go out. Years later, I discovered my mother had already suspected I was gay.
