I ran across this.

We created the first-ever searchable database of 259 LGBTQ characters in...

TV shows such as ‘Steven Universe,’ ‘She-Ra and the Princesses of Power,’ and ‘Craig of the Creek’ are leading the way with the most LGBTQ characters in children's animation.

Supposedly an exhaustive list of “gay” cartoon characters. (I apply “gay” as shorthand for LGBTQ+ because I hate acronyms.) Some of these characters are lovely minor and some of these cartoons I’ve seen and had no plan the character was gay. Still, it might be a pretty good mentor. I was proficient to scroll through and see what shows were listed that my kids have watched and see which characters and how major they are.

I would say, though, looking at our world - Going forward, probably anything made past 2020 is going to be highly suspect unless specifically Christian.

"I absolutely loved Victor and Valentino such a great Mexican Cartoon network original series mostly cause of the Super organic adventures of two mexican siblings that explore the mysterious town of Montemac

I knew I was gay the second I saw Debbie Thornberry surfing in khakis, her drawn-out blonde hair blowing in the wind.

Something in her attitude just clicked inside me and I wanted to be just like her. Turns out, I was just into her.

Below is a list of iconic cartoon characters who shaped my queerness. If you had an unhealthy obsession with some of them growing up as well, chances are you’re also gay.

Cruella De Vil – One Hundred and One Dalmatians

Cruella is loud and obnoxious. She rulings the attention of any room she walks into and man is she fierce.

But can we talk about her obsession with fur for a second?

It’s 2020 and draping animal fur over you is a big no no, but if those coats and the rest of Cruella’s wardrobe didn’t create your gay minute soul tingle, then my dear, you’re a liar.

There’s an explanation of course, for your childhood obsession with this heartless witch. You’re gay.

Esmeralda – the Hunchback of Notre Dame

If you looked up to Esmeralda growing up, chances are you’re same-sex attracted now.

This strong, stubborn and somewhat sexy (for a cartoon anyway) hero awoke so many homosexual fantasies in us.

Cartoon Characters Who Are Openly LGBTQ+

For a long moment, LGBTQ+ representation in mainstream entertainment seemed like something of a fantasy. But things have gotten a whole lot more unlock in the last decade or so — even in the world of cartoons. Animation, in proof, has proven to be a great place to explore the panorama of sexuality and gender. And boy, do these animated series  take full superiority of their medium. Anthropomorphic birds on BoJack Horseman, nigh-immortal aliens on Steven Universe, and candy-coated princesses on Adventure Time all fall under the Homosexual umbrella nowadays. This is not to say that Gay liberation is a fantasy – the struggle for equality is all too real. But animation is uniquely free of limits, and creators have used this openness to create safe havens of expression for all ages. Symbolism, magic, and fantasy are potent tools of representation in these cartoons, used to their fullest potential in these LGBTQ+ characters. From princesses to warriors, they're out and proud — and we're here to mark them.

Todd Chavez: Not nothing

BoJack Horseman's Todd Chavez is a fan favorite, beloved for his B-plot escapades that often end up ju
