There is oddly tiny in cyber territory about Dennis C. (which stood for Cleveland) Stewart, with the unfortunate complexion. He was foremost known as “Crater face” in the movie Grease, though in billing and retrospect he is always referred to as “Leo, Chief of the Scorpions”. The IMDB has very little as skillfully, except for the all too crucial fact that he was a dancer in one of my favorite (and universally panned) films, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. He was billed as a dancer, which is very uncharacteristic of the Crater face we perceive, but then I guess that’s why they call it acting.
What prompted my interest in Dennis was Frenchy’s Grease Scrapbook, which I am a proud owner of. Didi Conn (the chick I invited to my prom), wrote her book of memories, and the only mention of Dennis was in the posthumous bit just mentioning that he died.

Is Grease cursed? The ill fortune that's plagued the film's stars
It has catchy songs, groovy twirl routines and sizzling Summer Loving – movies don’t come much more feelgood than Grease.
But while Sandy and Danny’s love story has a fairytale ending, what befell the film’s stars has been far from happy ever after.
In fact, there has been so much turmoil, heartache and tragedy for many of those involved in the making of the 1978 musical, Grease is said to be cursed. And the latest victim is Jeff Conaway, better known as T-Birds leader Kenickie. He is fighting for his life after mysteriously tumbling down a flight of stairs at his Los Angeles home.
The “curse” has also knock the film’s leads, John Travolta and Olivia Newton John. And it even extends to stage productions. In a 2007 theatre version, Jim Bakkum and Bettina Holwerda were injured in a freak accident.
During a scene at a drive-in the convertible they were sat in suddenly plunged into the orchestra pit. Jim was concussed while Bettina broke her arm.

However, in the years after the film's 1978 release, whispers of a curse began circulating after so many of the cast, crew and production team were struck down by tragedy.
The latest downcast news to surface is the death of actor Edd Byrnes, who played Vince Fontaine in the hit show musical, who has died unexpectedly aged 87.
His death is the latest in a long line of tragedies that have struck those who worked on Grease since its blockbuster box office days.
It's not only affected the feature - the curse is said to have struck the threatre show too with the most notable incident coming in 2007 with a freak onstage accident.
