Music mogul Simon Cowell has revealed his lifestyle would have been far less expensive if he was a gay man.

He was recently interviewed by ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour when she asked if he had ever feared bankruptcy during his career and he joked that virtual dating high maintenance women has cost him a fortune:

"Yes, particularly when I’ve had girlfriends like you lot! I said to someone the other day that I wish I had been born gay. I would have saved a fortune."

Meanwhile, Cowell is expecting his first child with American socialite Lauren Silverman and hinted that they might tie the knot in the future:

"I’m not ruling anything out in the future. If you asked me a year ago, at my age, am I going to have a baby? I probably would have said “no” so you’ve just got to take each day as it comes now. Whatever feels right you should do."

Someone's just begging to be sued by a gay coal miner's union.

"It would make no difference to my being or my career," he continued. "A lot of my friends are lgbtq+, but I'm not and don't even think that way any more."

According to reports, another man identified as reporter Mazher Mahmood asks Varey if Cowell is homosexual and Varey replies, "Yes." Asked how he supposedly knew that, Varey responds, "I know people who have."

Not that there'd be anything wrong with that—but it simply isn't true.

"Simon was referred to during the trial without forewarning, resulting in widespread media coverage of untrue claims regarding his private life," attorneys for Cowell, 54, said in a statement to E! News. "In 2014 the scrutinize of whether someone is or is not gay is antiquated. (As it happens he isn't, though if he were, he would simply have said so)."

Simon Cowell, Tom Cruise, and George Clooney have much more in common than just being household names. The three are straight stars who maintain getting labeled as gay. They've all been subject to speculation and rumors about their sexuality despite all having been, or still being, married or engaged to women. The British music producer and TV host we all love to hate rose to fame as a caustic and sarcastic judge on "Pop Idol" and "American Idol." However, it was true love forever when Cowell met his now-fiancée, Lauren Silverman, in 2004.

Still, The Independent notes that speculation regarding Cowell's sexuality shifted into high gear in 2014 when he unwittingly initiate himself at the center of a messy court trial. N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, who was a judge on Cowell's reveal, "The X Factor," w
