To Achieve Our Mission We:
Identify and join with nonprofits that support the environment, animal welfare, and people in want in each municipality chapter (including organizations not traditionally linked with the Homosexual community)
Support select organizations through volunteer service (time), and aid to amplify their missions through our vast network of LGBTQ+ volunteers.
Coordinate social events for Queer For Good’s Diverse volunteers, and our allies, to progress friendships and network
Foster and promote a spirit of positive, enthusiastic camaraderie both within the Queer community and towards our neighbors and nonprofit partner organizations
Do something valuable for our community, town and country

Make A Differenc There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved! Volunteers are the backbone of HRC, and our volunteers work on the front lines in the fight for LGBTQ+ equality. HRC’s potent network of all-volunteer communities is made up of people from a wide array of backgrounds, experiences, identities, and skill sets. We invest in our volunteers through leadership development and recognition programs, offering workshops, conferences, online resources and support from staff to ensure that our leaders become the strongest and most effective advocates, leaders and fundraisers they can be. We welcome you to join our movement no matter how much period you are able to give. Volunteers are needed now to contribute their time and talent to advance equality. Heritage of Pride is pledged to recruiting consecrated, reliable volunteers to assist in the production and execution of New York City’s annual Lgbtq+ fest events. Though volunteers need not recognize as LGBTQIA+, it is imperative that all volunteers be LGBTQIA+ affirming and support the carried on struggle for packed equality. Through teaching and support, Heritage of Pride aims to empower volunteers and encourage their ongoing participation in the organization’s annual planning. Anyone can appear our committee meetings throughout the year and learn how events are planned many months in advance. If you attend enough meetings, you can get a HOP member (it's free!).
