'The Hollow' Season 2: Diverse representation wins hearts, fans say the show nailed 'the creepiness factor'
Spoilers for 'The Hollow' Season 2
Netflix's 'The Hollow' has dropped its second season with a 'Devs' / 'Westworld' style plot twist and a lot more highlight on characters than last time around. Season 2 really upped the ante and managed to sneak in some great moments that fans totally loved.
Waking up to find himself in the animated planet of the Hollow game once again at the start of Season 2, Adam (Adrian Petriw) is wondering just what's going on.
Soon joined by Mira (Ashleigh Ball) and Kai (Connor Parnall), they uncover that while they're living in what seems to be their home, they retain all their memories of their time in the Hollow and their life inside it. They then set out on yet another adventure that gave the fans exactly what they wanted, including the reveal that Adam is gay.
"Ok but loving the LGBTQ+ representation in the new season of #TheHollow," one fan wrote on Twitter. "The Hollow says GAY RIGHTS!!!!!!!! #TheHollow," another fan tweeted. "This is a very gay second season (so far)," yet another fan wrote. "I endorse. #The
The biggest missed opportunity of The Hollow was the reality they never showed Adam and his hair care routine.
Like do y’all glimpse this?
I don’t concern if he’s in a digital society, in S2 the digital world is based off the real world so there’s no way he can’t own some hair gel on him.
Like picture S2E1 with Adam waking up with his hair down and all messed up. He’s really confused and he knows he needs to investigate, but at the same hour, it’d be absolutely criminal if he didn’t fix his hair first.

Yes, because the reason she cheated was out of pressure, a need to validate herself and please her peers. She didn’t cheat because she wanted to put
Adam (The Hollow)
So, I just finished watching the Hollow and something caught my eye:
In episode 7, “The Riddle” (season 1 obviously), Mira kisses Adam and he essentially turns her down. The first thought that came to mind was:
mY bOi AdAm Is GaY!!!!!!!!
And with me being a gender non-conforming person and all, I was cheerful with this feasible new side to Adam.
I also idea this was a valid possibility, given that this is on Netflix, a series and show platform that basically has no boundaries-
I mean, look at 13 Reasons Why, that was interesting...
But, this could just mean that he isn’t into Mira- he did see surprised and made it clear that he didn’t desire to be with her (in a romantic way).
I looked online to spot if anyone else thought that Adam was gay and a piece of evidence I saw was that ‘Adam looked upset’ when Kai wouldn’t depart behind him in the vent because he didn’t long his, “face up against your (Adam) butt.”
(Episode 1, “The Room”- again, season 1)
And to be honest, I don’t agree with this. I think that Adam was just frustrated by the situation, there was frigging poison gas below them!!!
I am all for gender non-conforming characters in books, TV, or any other kind of media (I constan
1. Strong head Adam (Adrian Petriw)
2. Cut-up Kai (Connor Parnall)
3. Sensitive, intuitive Mira (Ashleigh Ball)
I liked the animation, and the complex plotlines, and found a gay subtext between Kai and Adam. I didn't like how Kai kept crushing on every girl in sight.
Season 2 just dropped. In the first episode, they all awaken back home. Or what they think is back home.
While Mira and her brother have breakfast, two men are discussing altering around their work schedues to go on vacation....wait...she has two Dads! Not just in the background, like on Ducktales, but talking, addressing her as their daughter, hugging.
No way to de-gay them as friends, roommates, or brothers. Let the Million Mom screeching begin.
But that's not all.
Adam has a giant rainbow flag on his bedroom wall! Not a little one. Not just in a blink-and-you-miss it shot. It's obviously hanging there throughout the entire scene.
Adam is gay!
He says the word in the second e
