After campaigns that caused Missourians to revisit a dark chapter in their governor’s office and saw political newcomers take center stage, voters in the U.S. Senate primary for Missouri on Tuesday will finally decide on which Republican and Democratic candidates will run for U.S. Senate.

After GOP Sen. Roy Blunt announced he would not seek another phrase, Republicans across the state jumped into Senate primary, ranging from Missourians with no political trial to those who have held public offices for years. On the Democratic side, candidates largely untested in politics have develop front-runners.

Both races have been marked by attacks and negative campaigning.

The races are far from place in stone. Ex-Gov. Eric Greitens, who stepped down from office in 2018 amid multiple scandals, led the Republican field for most of the primary season. In the weeks leading up to election day, current express Attorney General Eric Schmitt has sailed to the top of public polling, bolstered by large spending and relentless attacks against Greitens from a political team supporting Schmitt.

The race is so far without an endorsement from former President Donald Trump. He  iss

Independence, MO –  Today, the Kunce Campaign has sent a Cease and Desist order to Trudy Busch Valentine for Senate, after she knowingly aired an attack ad that contains “false, misleading, and defamatory statements about Mr. Kunce.”

“Trudy Busch Valentine is spending her family fortune peddling lies about Lucas Kunce. She’s taking a page out of Trump’s playbook — utilize your inherited millions to spread lies and disinformation about your political opponent,” said Connor Lounsbury, Deputy Campaign Manager. “If Trudy Busch Valentine cared about these issues, she would’ve showed up to debate and asked Lucas herself, but she didn’t. She could have looked at Lucas’ website, but she didn’t. Her attempts to stretch about and denigrate a man who served his nation for 13 years as a U.S. Marine have revealed her true traits – a wealthy elite hellbent on seizing power for herself. What’s also deeply disturbing about this ad is in her desperate aim to slander Kunce, Trudy Busch Valentine also slandered Democrats like Barack Obama, Claire McCaskill, Stacey Abrams, and Kamala Harris, all of whom have evolved on issue

Growing up as a same-sex attracted person in New Hampshire, I never imagined I could live
openly — let alone run for U.S. Senate. But my community showed me what's
possible. You helped me win four times in one of the most competitive
congressional districts in the country.

We’ve made tremendous progress since I was younger. But there’s still
something we’ve never done. We’ve never elected a gay man to the Senate.

To be clear I’m not running for Senate just to make history. I’m in this
race for the people of New Hampshire – all of us. But the prospect of
moving the needle of progress forward is deeply meaningful to me.

This is an opportunity for representation in the Senate. It’s also
important that LGBTQ+ people have more seats at the table at a time when
our rights are coming under attack.

We can win this election for the people of Unused Hampshire, charting a path
forward for our joint future – and we can tear down barriers
